After some professional experience in Italy, she moved to the Netherlands; it was here that she learned and delved into Nordic design and worked on researching emerging trends, focusing on the simple aesthetics and shapes which characterise her delicate, formal and clean style.
In 2015, she returned to Milan to set up her own studio. She works with Italian and international furniture and design brands including Nespresso, cc-tapis, Coin Casa, Lema, Imetec, Gallotti&Radice, Fratelli Guzzini, Manerba, Mingardo, Nason Moretti, Decoratori Bassanesi, Potocco, Leolux.
Nominated by Andrea Branzi, she received the Rising Talent award during Maison & Objet in 2018.

In 2020, Federica Biasi presented the Lume collection for Nespresso.
In 2021, she won the EDIDA – ELLE DECOR INTERNATIONAL DESIGN AWARDS as
Young Talent of the Year.
